Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine flour and salt in medium-size bowl. Cut in shortening.
  3. Place egg and vinegar in 1/2-cup measuring cup; add enough water to fill cup to top. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture; mix well.
  4. Divide dough in half. Roll out 1/2 dough on floured surface. Fit pastry loosely onto bottom and sides of 10-inch pie plate. Trim 1/2 to 1 inch beyond edge; fold under and flute. Repeat process for remaining dough.
  5. Prick bottom and sides if baking unfilled pastry shell.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden.
